Complete set of 24 leather bound Knickerbocker Leather & Novelty miniature books of 19 Shakespearean plays, ca. early 1900-1920. Each volume is leather bound and gilt-stamped on spine and front covers. Condition varies for each book with some more fragile than others. Leather coverings are good considering their age but some are faded and/or stained. Gilt title imprints on the spine of each book are in very good to excellent condition. Each volume is 3 1/8” by 2 1/4 inches. Titles include: 1. Romeo & Juliet 2. Othello 3. The Tempest 4. King Henry IV Part 1 5. King Henry IV Part 2. 6. Macbeth 7. King Henry VI Part 1 8. Hamlet Included with the books is a custom made display case with lid (6.5" wide, by 8" tall, by 3.25" deep) that protect the books from UV light.
