We have a son of SAV 10 Speed and a son of SAV Resource. Until they were weaned on 9/8/16, they were only on pasture grass and MLS breeder mineral tubs-no creep feed or supplements. They are raised with a slow gain ration of grass hay, distillers, a low corn based feed to help develop muscle and not fat, and MLS mineral tubs. We develop these bulls in the same pen as the bulls we keep for our herd bulls and we want them to go out on grass until fall and still maintain their condition. On 4/19/17 all bulls were semen tested and passed their breeding soundness exam on their first sample. All bulls were vaccinated with Virashield 6-VL5 and Vision 7. Bulls were poured with Eprinex and had a magnet inserted and are freeze branded. #694 - A SAV Resource son. Born on 2/2/16. Weight on 10/9/16 of 774#, and a weight of 1270# on 4/15/17. A moderate framed bull out of an 11 year old Chestnut Queen Eva Angus cow and one of Genex's top semen selling bulls. Would recommend for cows. $1900. #689 - A SAV 10 Speed son. Born on 3/10/16. Weight on 10/9/16 of 736#, and a weight of 1375# on 4/15/17. He had the highest ADG of the group of bulls from weaning. With a BW EPD of .5 and a CED of 7, he will be suitable for larger framed heifers or cows. $2200. We can keep the bulls until you need them for turnout, but prefer them to be gone by the last week of June. Bulls are located 2 miles West of Tyler, MN.
