Stella is from the International Society for the Protection of Mustangs and Burros, and came to GSH in December of 2016 during a crisis at ISPMB involving county impoundment and seizure, overcrowding and lack of resources. Stella is heavily bonded to Eliana and Vanessa, who we suspect are her sister and mother, respectively. She's friendly but cautious and will be starting her gentling in January. ***May 2017 Update*** Stella has taken a bit longer than some to gain weight so she has been in our baby pasture for extra grain this Spring. She is also growing! She has become a lovely gentle girl who leads well and is starting groundwork. We will be starting her under saddle early this summer/late spring.
