I like big BUTTS and I cannot lie $5,000 Salem, SD PRICE REDUCED!! “Scooter” is a 17-year-old bay quarter gelding. He has been used and knows multiple events/disciplines. When my daughter was younger, she used him for 4-H in the following events: showmanship, stock seat, western riding, reining, barrels and poles, and won numerous ribbons with him along with trips to Huron for the state show. I still run him at our local barrel races from time to time and he usually runs about an 18 second pattern without being seasoned. He does great when we go for our 4-mile gravel trail ride. Scooter knows how to side pass, pivot, roll backs, neck reins, flying lead changes, goes through water/mud/gates, w/t/c, and really has that “whoa”/sliding stop when asked for it. Scooter really loves attention, is easy to catch, stands to saddle and mount, and no trailer issues. Don’t let his age fool you! Scooter has power, when asked for it, just look at that butt, but he is controllable. Due to this he is best suitable for an intermediate/experienced rider (meaning not recommended for kids!). He is UTD on shots/vaccinations/vet visits/ect. Will get his feet done Monday. I do shoe him in the front. He is for sale at this time due to I just bought a new youngster for my daughter and cannot have 4 horses (per the hubby ??). Scooter’s downfalls are:1. He does get “weepy’ eyes when there is a lot of dust in the air and during harvest time; but a fly mask helps with this; 2. Have to twitch him for worm/shots; 3. He can be spooky with other horses racing up behind him; therefor the “not a kid’s horse, unless your kid can really ride” as previously stated. I am asking $5500 at this time. No trades.
