From Head To Tail Part 3, For Horse & Human Saturday, July 13, 2019 10:30am - 3pm Hammerstrom Arena 27956 468th Ave, Lennox, SD Clinician Teresa Roster, DVM This clinic is #3 of a 5 part series and can stand alone. These clinics are interactive, focusing on how to identify and manage signs and reactions to tension and pain in the rider and horse. Each clinic will focus on specific parts of the horses body, concluding with total body. Tension release techniques will be incorporated for you and your horse. Part 3 for rider is Advanced Saddle Fitting. Horses that attend this clinic will receive a veterinarian evaluation for tension and pain and will receive appropriate Chiropractic and therapeutic therapy. Bring your horses saddle and stand when bringing your horse. Auditors: $35 Bringing a Horse: $140 Horse Preregistration by July 11th required if bringing a horse. A preregistration entry form will be emailed to you upon request. Day of the clinic, arrive with your horse: 9am - 9:30am to check in. Auditor's RSVP to retain your information packet by July 12th. Auditor Registration: 9:30am Clinic begins with Classroom (required) from 10:30 - noon: Topic: Areas where riders and horses can hold tension & pain and what could be the cause. Each clinic focuses on different areas. Lunch/Preparing Horses for Hands on Session: Noon - 1pm Hands on Horses: 1pm - 3pm 1. Identifying Signs of Tension & Pain 2. Locating Areas With Your Fingertips 3. Pain Release Techniques and Equine adjustment from Dr. Roster. 4. Restorative and Balancing Exercises for horses. Preregistration required if you are bringing a horse. Horse must be UTD Annual VX: $140 per horse. Preregistration deposit to reserve a time for your horse is $75 non refundable unless Clinic is cancelled or postponed. Credit card accepted. One horse per person. What to Bring Part 3: A chair, your lunch, notepad and pencil. Wear suitable clothing for an indoor arena. Signed lien releases and registration fees will be collected at Check In for Students bringing horses. No dogs, picture taking, cameras or recorders.
