What is an Iron Butt Ride? For those of you who may not know, an Iron Butt tour is a ride a motorcycle rider takes. The goal of the tour is to ride a motorcycle 1000 miles within 24 hours. Our ride will take place Friday, June 18th. (the longest day of daylight this year.) We plan to ride from the Capitol of Minnesota, St. Paul, to the Capitol of North Dakota, Bismarck, to the Capitol of South Dakota, Pierre, then back to St. Paul, bringing the total mileage of the tour to over 1,118 miles within 24 hours. All proceeds will benefit Destiny Rescue. (An organization whose purpose is to rescue children from sexual slavery.) Right now, a young child is being exploited, sold, and abused with no hope of a future. If we don’t get to her, someone else will, and her horror story will continue to play night after night. You can put an end to this injustice. Help find children caught in exploitation and give them a path to freedom and a better future. What is Destiny Rescue? In short Destiny Rescue provides freedom and empowers bright and safe futures for children. Night after night, highly-trained teams of agents go undercover into some of the darkest places on the planet in search of children trapped in sex trafficking and sexual exploitation. Many in brothels, bars and on the streets. Once identified, agents work relentlessly to bring these children to freedom. Once found, they build trust with them and offer a way out. What does Destiny Rescue provide? Rescued children are taken to safe houses where they sleep safely, receive education, vocational training, counseling and healthcare, spiritual guidance and, most importantly, love.
