Location: brewster

Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible King-size vintage storage bookcase headboard manufactured by Drexel Furniture in 1977. Part of the sought-after "Woodbriar" collection (Model 908-574-1), this piece was crafted in North Carolina out of premium, solid pecan hardwoods. Mid-century storage headboards are incredibly tough to find in true standard King sizing, making this a rare find for anyone looking to pair authentic mid-mod vintage styling with a modern mattress size. Features & Design: • Storage Layout: Features two open outer shelving bays (perfect for books, clocks, or decor) and a center cabinet hidden behind dual, beautiful wood door panels. • Functional Build: Slanted wedge-profile silhouette provides comfortable back support if sitting up in bed. Built-in wiring pass-throughs make managing phone chargers or bedside lamps effortless. • Authentic Documentation: Fully stamped on the back with the original factory stencil and features the official blue "Drexel Heritage Furnishings" quality control inspection sticker. Condition: Excellent structural condition. Very sturdy and heavy. The wood grain features beautiful natural character. There is minor, typical vintage cosmetic surface wear/scuffs on the lower support legs as pictured, consistent with age. Dimensions: • Fits standard King-size bed frames and mattresses. More Details: • Non-smoking home. • Cash only. • Location in our garage for easy pickup in Brewster, MN. • Local pickup only. Please bring an appropriate vehicle (truck/large SUV/trailer) and a strong helper to load, as this is heavy, solid hardwood. • Cross-listed on multiple groups.
